The SMM 2022

Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology - or short SMM.

The world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry in Hamburg is taking place for the 30th time this year and serves as a must-attend event in the maritime industry. It premiered on 22th of May 1963 and was accompanied by the Association of German Marine Engineers (VDSI). SMM was born out of the idea of a regular industry gathering.

In addition to the classic topics such as marine equipment, technology, systems and electrical engineering, this year's SMM also offers newcomers the opportunity to present themselves. Besides the conventional topics, the areas of "Green Technology", "Maritime 3D Printing" and "Start-ups" will be presented overall on more than 90,000 m² of exhibition space.

Well over 2,000 exhibitors from 100 nations will present and introduce their latest products to more than 40,000 visitors this year.

We are already looking forward to presenting our new unique searchlights, floodlights and marine products at our stand 126 in hall B6 during the period 6 - 9 September 2022.
