SMM 2024

SMM, the world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry, is being held in Hamburg for the 31st time this year and is an unmissable event for the shipping industry. It celebrated its premiere on May 22, 1963 as an event organized by the Association of German Marine Engineers (VDSI). The SMM emerged from the idea of a regular meeting of the industry.

In addition to the classic subject areas such as marine equipment, marine technology, marine deployment systems and electrical engineering, this year's SMM also offers newcomers to the industry the opportunity to present themselves. On an exhibition area of over 90,000 m², the areas of “Green Technology”, “Maritime 3D Printing” and “Start-ups” will be highlighted in addition to the traditional topics.

Well over 2,000 exhibitors from 100 nations will once again be presenting their latest products and innovations to more than 40,000 visitors this year.
