To improve the efficiency of our resources in the future we are searching for an Electrical engineer/ Electronics development engineer (full time) (f/m/d) at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:

• Development and further development of lighting in close cooperation with the construction, especially LEDs and calculations of electrical and electro-technical parts under consideration of the heat management
• Planning and organization of development projects in close cooperation with the construction and production departments, from setting up the concept until series production
• Programming of CAN bus systems for searchlights and lighting systems
• Creation and optimization of layouts for circuit boards with high power LEDs up to prototype construction
• Development accompanying EMV simulation
• Responsibility for the compliance of the EMV-guideline according to the specifications of the CE-, DNV GL-certification and the Mil-standard
• Participation in serial implementation of the results and documentations
• Creation of lighting simulations with DOSE-lights and their optimization according to customer requests
• Constant monitoring of the market and the technological development in the fields of LED, electric and electrotechnics
• Coordination of requirements and customer requests with our sales department or the customers
• Supporting our sales department, especially with customer advisory in our headquarter or product demonstration on site
• Processing and clarification of technical questions and claims at customer level
• Creation of circuit diagrams and data sheets

Your qualifications: 

• A complete technician training or a degree in electrotechnics
• Experience with programming (such as CAN bus systems)
• Independent, structured, and solutions-oriented working method, resilience
• Above average engagement and a high sense of responsibility
• Safe handling of all MS-Office applications
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Strong communication and team skills
