Gorch Fock with LED-Searchlights

After 6 months of general overhauling the German navy training sailing ship Gorch Fock is ready for new worldwide voyages. Not only she lost a weight of 95 tons but also she needs less energy for electric lighting from now on. The Karl Dose GmbH, a family business founded in 1920 in Hamburg and specialist for ship electric, lighting and container power sockets, fits in the newest lighting technology. From now on eight DOSE LED-searchlights illu-mine the rig and top deck. Because of the new LED-Technology the needed wattage decreased from 650 watt to 29 watt per searchlight. The Gorch Fock is visiting Hamburg from the 5th to the 8th of August 2010.

DOSE SMM 2010

This year the SMM in Hamburg starts earlier as in the past. 7th September to 10th September.

LATEST ADDITION TO DOSE FAMILY

My name is Holger Kaffenberger and I am very happy to welcome you here at DOSE as the new product manager.

Since April 2010 I am the responsible for the product management with its manifold scope of duties:

       - Coordination of all products activities internal und external;

       - Development of the product strategy;

       - Strategy briefing with the company management;

       - Coordination of the marketing mix;

       - Scheduling and guidance of the product engineering in
          teamwork with the engineering office;

       - Analysis of customer requirements and monitoring of the
          market;

       - Installation of an enterprise knowledge management system


Some facts about me:

I am 41 years young. Naturally I am from Ulm in the south of Germany. After my military time at the Air Force and my academic studies of information management and business communication I worked last for one of the leading automotive manufacturer in the world at the” idea management”. Together with my wife Susanne I’m very happy to be in Hamburg and we are looking forward to what will happen next.

Dose-Internet-Presentation

Finally,

the new DOSE homepage is online! The relaunch also reflects the new, more progressive orientation of the DOSE company.

Besides to our well known high quality requirements we will - in the future - even more than before react to our customers wishes with product innovations. Through the clearer display of our products and the offered services it has become more convenient for our customers to access the complete DOSE product portfolio.

Thereby the better identifiability also serves the preparation of the upcoming DOSE online shop. The DOSE internet presence is therefore consequently expanded from a pure communication channel to a full-value instrument of distribution and established as a firm component of our marketing-mix.

As customer reactions have shown, this first step has been very successful. At this point we would like to thank you for all the positive feedback. We hope you will enjoy our new homepage, which we will steadily develop for and with you - our customers.
